Once in a while I will gather my courage and brave the touts you can find on Soi Twilight. It is a little alley with a lot of gay go-go-bars, located not far from the infamous Patpong night market, in Bangkok. If you have never been there before and heard about the handsome Asian gay boys you can find there, the first visit can be a bit overwhelming.
There is very loud music at the alley entrance. Once you have braved that, there are lots of touts pulling you left and right, and shouting in your ear that a show is about to start. They are all lying through their teeth, they just say it to get customers and commissions. Once you dealt with the persistent guys, you can choose a bar at your leisure. You can walk in and out and inspect the “merchandise” on offer, so to speak. That is the fun part and soon enough some cute twink will catch your eye and… well, the rest I leave up to you.
